PLANNING THE NEXT 24 HOURS:With calm winds and temperatures cooling down again to near 60 overnight, a little patchy fog is possible again. Wednesday will feature a slow increase in clouds, yet temperatures are expected to be warm in the lower 80s. Showers and thunderstorms increase late Wednesday night, mainly after midnight, with warm low temperatures in the middle 60s.
EXTENDED FORECAST:Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible Thursday and Thursday night, too. If we can clear out some on Thursday and build some humidity up, a few strong to severe storms are possible later Thursday afternoon and evening. ALERT DAY conditions are possible during this time, with all severe hazards possible, including an isolated tornado or two. The weather system will lag into Friday with breezy conditions, although the best chances of pop-up showers and storms will be with the heat of the day. There is a slight chance of a pop-up storm Saturday afternoon, yet many places will be dry. Sunday is looking dry and seasonably warm.
